Category | Antibodies |
Description | Recognizes an N-glycosylated glycoprotein of 120kDa with intra-chain disulfide bonds, identified as CD50 or ICAM-3. CD50 is the major ligand for LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and may have signaling role to increase adhesion. It is expressed on thymocytes and T lymphocytes and is resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol (PI) phospholipase C. This mAb is excellent for staining of formalin/paraffin tissues. |
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Species/Host | Mouse |
Isotype | Mouse IgG2b, kappa |
Conjugation | Unconjugated |
Reactivity | Human |
Buffer/Preservatives | 0.2 mg/ml in 1X PBS with 0.1 mg/ml rAlbumin (US sourced) and 0.05% sodium azide |
Purity | Protein G affinity chromatography |
Immunogen | Recombinant human protein was used as the immunogen for the ICAM3 antibody. |
UniProt ID | P32942 |
Tested applications | IHC-P, WB |
Dilution range | Western blot: 1-2ug/ml,Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT |
Application notes | Optimal dilution of the ICAM3 antibody should be determined by the researcher.1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min. |
Antibody Type | Primary Antibody |
Clone Number | ICAM3/1019 |
Formula | 0.2 mg/ml in 1X PBS with 0.1 mg/ml BSA (US sourced) and 0.05% sodium azide |
Storage | Store the ICAM3 antibody at 2-8°C (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20°C or colder (without azide). |
Hazard Information | This ICAM3 antibody is available for research use only. |
Note | For research use only |
Western blot analysis of HL-60 cell lysate using ICAM3 antibody (ICAM3/1019). Observed molecular weight: 60~120 kDa depending on glycosylation level.
IHC: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tonsil stained with ICAM3 antibody (ICAM3/1019)
