Description

Goat polyclonal antibody to HDAC6, which is a member of the histone deacetylase family, HD type 2 subfamily. It is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones. It acts in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin. HDAC6 is a class II histone deacetylase enzyme localized to the cytoplasm and associated with the microtubule network.
