Immunostaining of free-floating sections of mouse locus ceruleus (brainstem) labeling tyrosine hydroxylase (Cat. orb319701, red, 1:2000) The mouse was transcardially perfused with 20 mL of PBS containing 0.1% procaine and 100 U/mL heparin followed by 20 mL of 4% paraformaldehyde (PFA) in PBS. The dissected brains were kept in fixative at 4 °C overnight.
