Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Methods: Tovetumab (0.6, 6.0, 60 mg/kg, intravenous injection) was administered to cynomolgus monkeys to observe its effects. Results: Tovetumab induced a more than 100-fold increase in circulating platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF-AA) levels in cynomolgus monkeys.
• In Vitro:
  Methods: MG-63 cells were treated with Tovetumab (0.001-10 nM, 10 minutes), and the expression of related proteins was detected by Western blot. Results: Tovetumab was able to inhibit ligand-induced phosphorylation of human PDGFRα in MG-63 cells.
