Description

Mouse monoclonal antibody to THOC1 is expressed in various cancer cell lines. It participates in an apoptotic pathway, which is characterized by activation of caspase-6, increases in the expression of BAK1 and BCL2L1 and activation of NF-kappa-B. THOC1 contains one death domain and is a component of the heteromultimeric THO/TREX (transcription/export) complex along with THOC2, THOC3, BAT1 and ALY.
