• Purity: This affinity purified antibody is directed against human SLIT-2 protein. The product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human and chicken based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Expect cross reactivity with SLIT-2 from Tetraodon nigroviridis , as only a single amino acid residue change is found within the immunogen sequence (94% positive by BLAST). The core 13 amino acids of the immunogen are also 100% homologous to SLIT-2 from mouse, rat, bovine and Xenopus laevis. Cross reactivity with SLIT-2 homologues from other sources has not been determined.

Immunohistochemistry of Rabbit anti SLIT-2 Antibody in human breast carcinoma. Tissue: Human prostate. Fixation: FFPE buffered formalin 10% conc. Ag Retrieval: Heat, Citrate pH6.2. Pressure Cooker, EDTA pH9.5 Pressure Cooker. Primary antibody: SLIT2 at 2 ug/ml for 1.5 hour @ room Temp. Secondary Ab: MACH 1 HRP POLYMER at 1:50 for 45" RT.

Western blot using Biorbyt's Affinity Purified anti-SLIT-2 antibody shows detection of a band at ~165 kDa (arrow) corresponding to SLIT-2 present in a chicken spinal cord whole cell lysate (p/n orb348662). Approximately 30 µg of lysate was separated on a 4-20% Tris-Glycine gel by SDS-PAGE and transferred onto nitrocellulose. After blocking the membrane was probed with the primary antibody diluted to 1:1350. Reaction occurred overnight at 4°C followed by washes and reaction with a 1:10000 dilution of IRDye800 conjugated Gt-a-Rabbit IgG [H&L] MX for 45 min at room temperature (800 nm channel, green). Molecular weight estimation was made by comparison to prestained MW markers in lane M (700 nm channel, red).
