Rabbit polyclonal to SIN3A.SIN3A is a transcriptional regulatory protein. It contains paired amphipathic helix (PAH) domainswhich are important for protein-protein interactions. It interacts with MIX1 to repress MYC responsivegenes and antagonize MYC oncogenic activities. It also interacts with the MAD-MAX heterodimer bybinding to MAD. The heterodimer then represses transcription by tethering SIN3A to DNA.
