Immunogen | Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant specific Spike (G142D Δ143-145VYY) antibody(orb1239983) was raised against a peptide corresponding to 12 amino acids near the amino terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant (B.1.1.529) Spike protein. The immunogen is located within 130-180 amino acids of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant (B.1.1.529) Spike protein. |
Concentration | 1 mg/mL |
Dilution range | WB: 2 μg/mL; ICC: 1 μg/mL; IF: 10 μg/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence staining in human samples. Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant Spike antibody specifically detects Spike S1 protein of Omicron Variant (B.1.1.529), but not WT and other variant by ELISA and WB. Other applications and species not yet tested. |

Immunohistochemistry Validation of Omicron Variant Spike Specific Antibody on a Nasal Swab Sample from a Omicron COVID-19 Patient. Immunohistochemical analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells from a nasal swab from a patient infected with the Omicron variant stained with Omicron specific antibody (orb1239983) at 1 µg/mL. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 10% serum for 1 h at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody overnight at 4 ˚C. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1/250 was used as secondary. Counter stained with Hematoxylin.
Immunofluorescence Validation of Omicron Variant Spike Specific Antibody on a Nasal Swab Sample from a Patient Infected with the Omicron Variant. Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed patient nasal swab sample labeling spike with orb1239983 and nucleocapsid with orb1273019 at 10 µg/mL for each, followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution for spike (orb1239983
