Rabbit polyclonal to ROBO4.Magic roundabout OBO4) is a protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. In theextracellular region, ROBO4 has only two of the five immunoglobulin and two of the three fibronectindomains present in other roundabout genes. ROBO4 is a receptor for Slit proteins, and seems to beinvolved in angiogenesis and vascular patterning. It may mediate the inhibition of primary endothelialcell migration by Slit proteins. ROBO4 is endothelial specific and expressed at sites of activeangiogenesis in different tumor types.
