• Dilution Range: Optimal antibody dilutions for the different applications should be determined by titration. Recommended dilution for ELISA: 1:5,000 to 1:25,000. For immunoblotting a dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:10,000 is recommended. For immunocytochemistry the antiserum can be diluted 1:100 to 1:250.

Storage & Handling

• Storage: The antibody may be stored at +4°C. For prolonged storage prepare appropriate aliquots and store at or below -20°C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly in the dark at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance or the concentration of the product.
• Form/Appearance: Each vial contains 100ul 1.6 mg/ml affinity purified polyclonal antibodies in 10 mM TRIS buffer pH 8.0, containing 0.02% sodium azide. This antibody is conjugated to soyabean peroxidase.
