Precipitating polyclonal rabbit antiserum to C3b subunit of human complement C3. C3b (C3c+C3d) has a molecular weight of 170,000. The protein is isolated and purified from pooled normal human serum by precipitation techniques, followed by chromatographical methods. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
