Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to PIM1 or pim-1 whose expression can be detected in the blood cells but it is majorly expressive in the erythrocytes. It is found in the nucleus. It can perform functions like apoptotic processes and shows oncogenic activity through: the regulation of cell cycle progression and by phosphorylation and inhibition of proapoptotic proteins (BAD, MAP3K5, FOXO3). It also acts as a regulator of homing and migration of bone marrow cells involving functional interaction with the CXCL12-CXCR4 signaling axis. |
