• In Vivo:
  The median lethal dose (LD50) of PI3K/AKT-IN-1 was greater than the test dose of 2000 mg/kg, indicating that PI3K/ AKt-in-1 was non-toxic and well tolerated by experimental animals.
• In Vitro:
  PI3K/AKT-IN-1 showed excellent cytotoxic activity in breast cancer MCF-7 and leukemia K562 cell lines with IC50 values of 3.22 μM and 2.62 μM, respectively. PI3K/AKT-IN-1 causes the cell cycle to stall in the S phase, leading to apoptosis induced by caspase 3 activation of leukemia (k562) cells.
