Mouse monoclonal antibody PDPK1 belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family. It takes part during thymocyte development by regulating the expression of key nutrient receptors on the surface of pre-T cells. It also regulates the mediating Notch-induced cell growth and proliferative responses; in addition to the transduction of signals from insulin by providing the activating phosphorylation to PKB/AKT1.
