Rabbit polyclonal antibody to PGPEP1 is a member of the peptidase C15 family. It removes 5-oxoproline from various penultimate amino acid residues except L-proline. Additionally, it catalyzes the hydrolysis of N-terminal pyroglutamyl residues from oligopeptides and proteins.
