Omeprazole Sodium is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion and also acts as a neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) inhibitor to modulate exosome biogenesis. It competitively inhibits CYP2C19 and exhibits antibacterial properties against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, making it useful for gastrointestinal and exosome-related research in vitro.
