Narsoplimab (OMS 721) is a human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits MASP-2, blocking activation of the lectin complement pathway. It is utilized in research models of transplant-associated complications, including hematopoietic stem cell transplant-related thrombotic microangiopathy (HSCT-TMA), based on clinical and preclinical studies.

Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Narsoplimab (10 mg/kg; i.v.; WT and Masp2-/- (KO) mice) reduced lymphocyte percentage (Lym%) and increased neutrophil percentage (Neu%).
• In Vitro:
  Narsoplimab (100 nM; 3 h; Vero E6 cells and Vero E6 cells with SARS-CoV-2) inhibits N protein-enhanced MASP-2 deposition.
