Description | MEK1 antibody (Peroxidase) |
Species/Host | Rabbit |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Tested applications | ELISA, FLISA, WB |
Reactivity | Human, Mouse, Rat |
Isotype | IgG |
Immunogen | Anti-MEK1 Antibody was produced in rabbits by repeated immunizations with synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues near the C-terminus conjugated to KLH. |
Antibody Type | Primary Antibody |
Concentration | 1.0 mg/mL |
Dilution range | FLISA: 1:40,000, WB: 1µg/mL |
Form/Appearance | Lyophilized |
Purity | This HRP conjugated affinity purified antibody is directed against human MEK1 protein. Anti-MEK1 antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using synthetic peptide coupled to agarose beads followed by cross adsorption to remove any unwanted reactivity. Cross reactivity is expected to occur with human, mouse and rat based on sequence identity of the peptide immunogen. This antibody does not react with the MEK2 isoform. |
Conjugation | HRP |
UniProt ID | Q02750 |
Storage | Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. |
Buffer/Preservatives | 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate. Do NOT add Sodium Azide! |

Note | For research use only |
Application notes | Anti-MEK 1 Peroxidase conjugated antibody has been tested by ELISA and is suitable for use in Western Blotting. Specific conditions of reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 43.5 kDa. |
Expiration Date | 12 months from date of receipt. |
ELISA Results of Rabbit Anti-MEK1 HRP Conjugated Antibody tested against BSA-conjugated peptide of immunizing peptide. Each well was coated in duplicate with 1 µg of conjugate. The starting dilution of antibody was 5 µg/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using 3% Fish Gel/PBS Blocking buffer, Anti-MEK1 HRP conjugated and TMB substrate (p/n orb348651).
