MAN1A1 catalyzes the hydrolysis of the terminal (1-Greater than 2)-linked alpha-D-mannoseresidues in the oligo-mannose oligosaccharide Man(9)-GlcNAc(2). It progressively trims alpha-1,2-linked mannose residues from Man(9)GlcNAc(2) to produce Man(5)GlcNAc(2). |
