Category | Antibodies |
Description | GLUT2 antibody |
Species/Host | Rabbit |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Tested applications | ELISA, IF, IHC, WB |
Reactivity | Human, Mouse |
Isotype | IgG |
Immunogen | This affinity-purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal domain of mouse Glut2 protein. |
Concentration | 1.0 mg/mL |
Dilution range | ELISA: 1:30,000-1:90:000, IHC: 4µg/mL, WB: 1:500-1:1000 |
Form/Appearance | Liquid (sterile filtered) |
Purity | This affinity-purified Glut-2 antibody is directed against Glut2 protein. The product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Glut2 from mouse and rat based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known. |
Conjugation | Unconjugated |
UniProt ID | P14246 |
NCBI | NP_112474.2 |
Storage | Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 µL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 µL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. |
Buffer/Preservatives | 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide |
Alternative names | rabbit anti-Glut2 antibody, Solute carrier family Read more... |
Note | For research use only |
Application notes | Anti-Glut-2 antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and by western blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 57.1 kDa in size corresponding to Glut2 protein by western blotting in the appropriate stimulated tissue or cell lysate or extract. |
