  F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG F(c) Peroxidase Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:20,000 to 1:200,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product for ELISA and Western blots and a 1:500 to 1:5,000 for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections.

• Purity: This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG F(c) and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat IgG F(ab) or Bovine, Horse, Human Serum Proteins.

ELISA results of purified F(ab')2 Goat anti-Rat IgG F(c) antibody Peroxidase Conjugated Min x Bv, Hs, & Hu serum proteins tested against purified Rat IgG F(c). Each well was coated in duplicate with 1.0 µg of Rat IgG F(c) (p/n orb346338). The starting dilution of antibody was 5 µg/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using 3% fish gelatin as blocking buffer and TMB substrate p/n orb348651.
