Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Administered subcutaneously at doses of 50, 100, and 500 mg/kg, cefacetrile does not alter fertility, gestation, and post-natal development of term fetuses in rats, and fertility and gestation in rabbits.At an intravenous dose of 1 g/kg, cefacetrile produces no nephrotoxicity in rabbits and rats.
