Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  BTB06584 inhibits F1Fo-ATPase activity in an IF1-dependent manner, does not affect ATP synthesis, and also restricts ischemia-induced damage caused b the reverse action of mitochondrial F1Fo-ATP synthase.
• In Vitro:
  BTB06584 restores defective hemoglobin synthesis in zebrafish pinotage (pnt) mutants without evident toxicity.
