Category | Antibodies |
Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SLC30A2 also known as zinc transporter2 and ZnT-2 whose expression can be detected in the renal tubulointerstitium and heart but it is highly expressive in the placenta and nephrons. It is found in the vacuole membrane. It can perform various functions like zinc ion transmembrane transporter activity and response to zinc ion. It is involved in the positive regulation of sequestering of zinc ion. |

Western blot analysis of ZNT2 expression in rat kidney (A) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 35 kD; Observed band size: 40 kD)
Immunohistochemical analysis of ZNT2 staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
