• Immunogen: BALB/c mice were immunized with human T lymphoblasts and spleen cells of the immunized animals were fused with X63-Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells. The supernatants of the resultant hybridomas were screened by a proliferation inhibition assay (inhibition of the human T lymphoblast response to IL-2). Two of those (the clones AHT54 and AHT107) that produced antibodies which inhibited IL-2 dependent proliferation of human T lymphoblasts were selected, cloned and recloned.

Immunofluorescence staining of Jurkat cells using anti-IL2R antibody AHT107. Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Jurkat cells immobilized on Shi-fix™ cover-slips and stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of AHT107 (orb669735) at 10 µg/ml followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom orb669735, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with anti-Fluorescein antibody (orb256390) followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.
