Mouse monoclonal antibody conjugated to Biotin which recognizes CD19 that amplifies the signaling cascade in B cells. Activation of CD19 results in cross-linking of the membrane protein immunoglobulin chains and the subsequent association with Src family protein tyrosine kinases (PTK).CD19 is continuous throughout B-cell development and through terminal differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells.Defects in CD19 are the cause of immunodeficiency common variable type 3 (CVID3).
