It is expressed on mature B cells, monocytes/macrophages and dendritic cells. CD180 is a signal transduction molecule and plays a role in regulation of B cell growth and death and also play a role in the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide, through co-operation with MD-1 and TLR4.
