Immunofluorescence staining of fixed A431 cells with anti-alpha catenin antibody 1G5. Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed A431 cells on Shi-fix™ coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of 1G5 (orb2645622) at 10 µg/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom orb2645622, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody (orb256458) followed by staining with Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.
![Anti-alpha catenin [1G5]](/images/pub/media/catalog/product/NewWebsite/35/orb2645622_2.png)
Western Blot using anti- alpha catenin antibody 1G5 A431(A) (0.003 µg/ml), HeLa(B) (0.03 ug/ml) and MCF7(C) (0.01 ug/ml) cell lysate. (35 µg protein in RIPA buffer) was resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of 1G5 (orb2645622) before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.
