Description

ZAK-IN-2 (Compound 8) is a selective covalent inhibitor of ZAK with an IC50 of 11.5 nM. It forms a covalent bond with Cys22 in the ZAKP loop, thereby inhibiting its kinase activity. ZAK-IN-2 also suppresses the phosphorylation of the downstream target p38 and can block Doxorubicin-induced Caspase 3 cleavage. This compound may be utilized in research related to myocardial hypertrophy.
