VK-1727

SKU: orb2278525

Description

VK-1727 is a selective EBNA1 inhibitor that suppresses EBV-positive cell proliferation and metabolism by blocking EBNA1-DNA binding, showing specificity by sparing EBV-negative cells. It is a key research tool for investigating EBNA1's role in diseases like multiple sclerosis, with utility in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.

Bioactivity

In Vitro
Methods: EBV+ cells were treated with VK-1727 (25 μM, 72 hours), and the cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. Results: VK-1727 significantly reduced the total number of G2-phase cells in EBV+ cells (HC1-2, SMS1-3, and AMS1-4), while no similar effect was observed in EBV− cells.
