Description

VGSC blocker-1 is a potent small molecule antagonist of the neonatal Nav1.5 (nNav1.5) voltage-gated sodium channel isoform. At 1 µM, it inhibits peak INa currents by 34.9% and reduces cell invasion by 0.3% in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells without affecting viability, making it a useful tool for studying nNav1.5 in cancer metastasis and electrophysiology research.
