  In mouse models of severe IAV infection, UH15-38 significantly inhibited lung damage. By inhibiting RIPK3-MLKL signaling, it reduced the number of necrotic cells within the lung parenchyma, particularly type I AECs, without affecting the frequency of apoptotic cells.
