Description

Triphenyltin(IV) diisopropyl dithiocarbamate (Compound OC2) is an anti-leukemia agent. It demonstrates significant cytotoxicity against Jurkat cells, with an IC50 value of 0.1 μM. The compound induces DNA damage leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and increased ROS production, ultimately causing leukemia cell death by activating the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway (involving Caspase-9/-3 activation) and inducing G0/G1 cell cycle arrest.
