Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  Cell Cytotoxicity Assay Cell line: MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. Concentration: 20 μM, 40 μM, 80 μM, 160 μM, 320 μM,. Incubation time: 24 h, 48 h. Result: Significantly decreased the metabolic activity. Apoptosis Analysis Cell line: MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. Concentration: 40 μM, 80 μM, 160 μM. Incubation time: 24 h. Result: Significantly induced apoptosis at 160 μM. Up-regulated the expression of Bax and down-regulated the expression of Bcl-2. Activated and cleaved caspase-8 and caspase-9 in a dose-dependent manner.
