Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Acetyl-trans-resveratrol significantly inhibited intracranial tumor growth and prolonged survival in these mouse models.
• In Vitro:
  Acetyl-trans-resveratrol inhibited cell viability, and induced apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells in a concentration and incubation time-dependent manner.
• Cell Research:
  Apoptosis was determined by using apoptosis detection kit according to the manufacturers instructions. Briefly, cells were treated with the indicated dosage of Acetyl-trans-resveratrol for 48 h. The untreated and treated cells were washed with PBS buffer and gently suspended in Annexin V binding buffer and incubated with Annexin V-FITC (20 μg/mL) and PI (20 μg/mL) for 15 minutes in the dark. Flow cytometry analysis was performed using Cellquest software.
