Description

Topoisomerasell/ME-1-IN-1 (Compound 7a) is an inhibitor of both Topoisomerasell and ME-1, with an IC50 of 5.03 μM for Topoisomerasell. It effectively suppresses Topoisomerase II activity and functionally blocks ME-1 activity. The compound induces autophagy by upregulating Beclin-1 and LC3-II expression. Additionally, Topoisomerasell/ME-1-IN-1 promotes apoptosis and exhibits antiproliferative effects on breast cancer cells without being toxic to normal breast epithelial cells. This compound is applicable for research related to breast cancer, including triple-negative breast cancer.
