Topo I/DDX5-IN-1 (Compound A10) is an inhibitor of topoisomerase I (Topo I) and DDX5. This compound impedes Topo I activity, binds to DDX5, and suppresses its functionality. It enhances the expression of γ-H2AX and p21, inhibits anti-apoptotic proteins (Bcl-2 and XIAP), stimulates the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and induces apoptosis (Apoptosis). Topo I/DDX5-IN-1 exhibits anticancer properties against pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, skin cancer, and colorectal cancer.
