Description

TM5441 is an orally active small molecule inhibitor of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) with IC50 values between 13.9 and 51.1 µM. It triggers intrinsic apoptosis in various human cancer cell lines in vitro and has shown efficacy in vivo by reducing cardiac hypertension and vascular senescence in animal models.
