Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Animal model: Obese rats. Dosage: 25 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg, 100 mg/kg. Administration: Supplement in diet. Result: Resulted in a further increase in the level of total and LDL-cholesterol. promoted a significant reduction (40–70%) in the level of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances. Induced an increase in the insulin sensitivity of the animals. Provided 60–70% reduction of TNF-α.
