Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  Tazobactam sodium (1000 mg/kg, intraperitoneally, four times a day, 36-84 hours) in BALB/c mice can reduce the number of bacteria in the mice and can also keep the mice alive at low doses.
• In Vitro:
  Tazobactam sodium (5 μg/mL, 18 hours) inhibited bacterial growth in a dose-dependent manner.
