• In Vivo:
  METHODS: Taxusin was administered to mice at 30 mg/kg by intraperitoneal injection to treat the painful effect of abdominal contraction caused by p-benzoquinone. RESULTS Taxusin exhibited significant analgesic effects on abdominal contractions induced by p-benzoquinone.
• In Vitro:
  METHODS: Taxusin and verapamil (0.1/1/10μg/mL) were used to determine the accumulation of vincristine (VCR) in multi-drug-resistant human ovarian cancer 2780AD cells. RESULTS Taxusin's activity against VCR accumulation in multidrug-resistant tumor cells was approximately 1.5 times that of microverapamil.
