Bioactivity

In Vivo
Oral administration of TAK-137 at 0.1-1 mg/kg to mice and 0.3-3 mg/kg to rats increased the proliferation of progenitor cells in the hippocampus. TAK-137 administered to monkeys at 0.03-1 mg/kg orally improved the cognitive performance of monkeys in the delayed matching sample task (DMTS).
