  (S)-(-)-Perillic acid (1.0-3.5 mM) exhibited time- and dose-dependent inhibition of arterial smooth muscle cell (SMC) growth at 24, 48, and 72 hours . (S)-(-)-Perillic acid (0.5 mM, 24 hours) upregulated the protein expression levels of Bax, Bcl2, p21, and caspase-3 in H520 cells .
