RAD51-IN-9 (Compound 3a) is a small molecule RAD51 inhibitor that disrupts its interaction with single-stranded DNA (IC50 = 17.85 µM). With an LD50 of 40.21 µM in HEK293 cells, it is a research tool for studying DNA repair mechanisms and has been shown to sensitize cells to DNA-damaging agents like mitomycin C in vitro.
