Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  Piclidenoson inhibited the proliferation of HaCat cells through deregulation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, leading to a decrease in interleukin-17 and interleukin-23 expression levels.
• Cell Research:
  [3H]-Thymidine incorporation assay was used to evaluate cell growth. HaCat cells (2500 cells/well) were incubated with piclidenoson 10 nM and MRS 1523 (50 nM) in 96-well plate for 48 hours. For the last 24 hours of incubation, each well was pulsed with 1 mCi [3H]-thymidine. Cells were harvested, and the [3H]-thymidine uptake was determined in an LKB liquid scintillation counter (LKB, Piscataway, NJ, USA). These experiments were repeated at least 4 times.
