Description

Penicisteck acid F (Compound 2) is a marine-derived tanshinonic derivative and acts as an NF-κB inhibitor. This compound inhibits osteoclast expression by reducing RANKL-induced IκBα degradation, NF-κB p65 nuclear translocation, NFATc1 activation and nuclear translocation, as well as the expression of related mRNA. It is applicable in osteoporosis research.
