MW-150 dihydrochloride dihydrate is a selective, brain-penetrant, and orally bioavailable inhibitor of p38α MAPK (Ki = 101 nM). It blocks p38α-mediated phosphorylation of MK2 in activated glial cells and has been utilized in preclinical research to investigate neuroinflammatory pathways in models of CNS disorders.
