Mupirocin calcium

SKU: orb1982120

Description

Mupirocin calcium (Pseudomonic acid) is an orally active antibiotic isolated from Pseudomonas fluorescens. It acts by reversibly inhibiting bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, thereby blocking protein synthesis. This mechanism supports its research use in studying Gram-positive infections, including MRSA, in both in vitro and in vivo models.
