IsotypeIgG
ConjugationUnconjugated
ReactivityMouse, Rat
Form/AppearanceLyophilized
Concentration1.0 mg/mL
Buffer/PreservativesNone
PurityThis Protein A purified antibody was heated to 56°C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant mouse MIP-3α in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
ImmunogenThis purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant mouse MIP-3α protein.
UniProt IDO89093
Tested applicationsELISA, WB
Dilution rangeELISA: 1:10,000, WB: 1:1,000
Application notesThis purified antibody has been tested in western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in ELISA, neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be < 10 pg/µl by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 10.7 kDa in size corresponding to native mouse MIP-3α protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
Antibody TypePrimary Antibody
StorageStore vial at 4° C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Alternative namesrabbit anti-MIP-3α antibody, CCL20, C-C motif chem

MIP-3 alpha Antibody

Western blot using Biorbyt's anti-Mouse MIP3a antibody shows detection of a band ~11 kDa in size corresponding to recombinant mouse MIP3a. Recombinant mouse MIP-3a was loaded on to an SDS-PAGE gel at 0.25 µg and after separation was transferred to nitrocellulose. The membrane was blocked with 1% BSA in TBST for 30 min at RT, followed by incubation with primary antibody diluted 1:1000 in 1% BSA in TBST overnight at 4°C. After washes, the blot was reacted with secondary antibody HRP Goat anti-Rabbit IgG antibody diluted 1:40000 in blocking buffer (p/n orb348637) for 30 min at RT followed by reaction with FemtoMax™ Chemiluminescent substrate.
