Description

LASSBio-2337 is a dual pan-PI3K/mTOR inhibitor that functionally regulates mTOR and all PI3K isoforms, with an IC50 value of 5.8 μM for mTOR. It exhibits significant cytotoxic effects against acute lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, and breast cancer cells (including multidrug-resistant strains), while showing no cytotoxic activity against non-tumorigenic human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, indicating good selectivity. Although LASSBio-2337 has limitations such as being insoluble in water, having low metabolic stability in rat liver microsomes, and only moderate PAMPA-GIT permeability, it remains an important tool molecule for researching leukemia and breast cancer.
